The first bowling alley on 18th Street in Cheyenne, one year before their next door neighbor Cheyenne Bowling Lanes arrived.
I originally had the two alleys being at the same location but it seems they both co-existed for four years with different phone numbers. More research is needed.
I suspect the Havmor lanes were in the basement and then the ten lanes at Cheyenne Bowling Lanes were built on the first level the following year.
A duck pin alley run by Harry T Tottenhoff per the 1942 Polk Cheyenne City Business Directory. |
