Factoids: |
A 20'x75' one story frame building that housed a bowling alley run by a Mr Crowley and Mr Medcalf, opening date unknown.
Located somewhere on the south side of 17th Street between O'Neil and Eddy (Pioneer Avenue). Reference to a two-story hotel named the Wyoming House several doors to the east might help in a future effort. Mr. Brasel turns the location into a gymnasium in February 1868. Will assume this establishment only had one bowling alley, typically of arcade variety, but need to confirm. The earliest Cheyenne Sanborn map I could find was dated 1883 and not much help in discerning an exact location for this establishment. |
