Advertisements for a new shooting gallery and bowling alley at 309 Sixteenth Street appeared in Novemeber 1886.
This address matches advertisements for the Pioneer Saloon run by Jake Esselborn. Per the June 1886 Sanborn map, the shooting gallery was at 307 16th Street next door to the saloon. Based on minimal information found thus far, I'm assuming this was a short-lived arcade bowling alley of some sort. |
