Initially in July 1887, agents sought to purchase Keefe hall for the YMCA for their new gymnasium, including two bowling alleys.
By September 1887, the YMCA takes possession of Keefe hall and enhances the building. In early October 1887, construction of one bowling alley is completed, located on the south side of Keefe hall. |
